Coach Adam

Adam Litwinko

Adam Litwinko Adam Litwinko was born and raised in New Britain, CT. Adam attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School in New Britain where he played four years of basketball and helped lead his team to success. Adam has an amazing family. Debbie and Adam are proud to raise 3 beautiful girls, Amber, Lyzi, and Katie as well as a handsome boy, Adam.

Adam began his coaching career with a volunteer position with the CT Shamrocks in the spring of 2006. From there he continued his volunteer efforts in the basketball world by being a volunteer member of the Boys Berlin Basketball Association (BBA) travel team for two years. In 2010 Adam went back to coaching girls’ basketball by coaching the fifth grade Girls BBA travel team. In 2011 he took the fifth grade team once again and has been following them since and has been able to help his team generate undefeated seasons.

Adam joined the CT Spirit staff in 2013 and has been following his group of girls since. He has had the privilege of coaching three successful seasons and helped guide his girls to three gold medals in the State tournament.

When coaching, Adam’s main goal is to help all players achieve their highest potential both on and off the court. He believes basketball and life go hand and hand and by being an athlete it only helps prepare you for the journey that lies ahead. Adam wants to challenge his athletes every day to push themselves to be the best they possibly can. With hard work, passion, and heart he knows anything is possible and he uses these methods to guide his team to knowledge, success, and a future filled with potential.

Welcome To The Connecticut Spirit

“At Connecticut Spirit winning the game is only part of our goal. We teach our players to win in life.”  Since 2003, we have been dedicated to the ethic of winning and also teaching others how to do the same. The Connecticut Spirit Club is one of the finest AAU in the United States of America. Our goal is simple—we teach core values and life coping skills that go far beyond the court; reaching into everyday life, through college, and into careers. Our players connect on a heart level and create lasting friendships.

Based in the Capital city of Hartford, Connecticut, the Connecticut Spirit draws girls from all over the State of Connecticut as well as towns and cities in Western Massachusetts.  Our coaches are the best, our parents are the best, our players are the best, which helps the Connecticut Spirit continue to compete at the highest levels locally, statewide, and nationally. Our goal is to continually cultivate a winning spirit in all of our players and coaches.

We are no strangers to winning on the court.  Our teams have consistently placed in our Annual CT AAU State Championships. Several of our teams have qualified to compete on the national level in Orlando, Dallas, and New Orleans.

Thank you for taking the time to peruse our site and learn more about the Connecticut Spirit.
